It's been six months since my two 1/2 infusions of Ocrevus and I'm going in tomorrow for the full dose. Is it worse than the half?

Ocrevus
I just want to let you know Friday I had my third dose of Ocrevus. He only problem I had was them trying to find my vein but once that happened everything went well was little tired because of the Benadryl. I do have to say later on that night the soles of my feet didn’t feel as numb as usual and my right foot I could pick it up more than I could for a very long time. On Sunday I noticed that my feet were not as swollen. I actually tried my sneakers tight I haven’t been able to do that for a very long time.
I hope you have an easy time like I had,
Judymax, it's Fancy1959. You and I are on the exact same ocrevus schedule. I go in at 9:15 this morning to receive my first full dose of ocrevus. I had my first two half doses, the first one in September and the next one in October. I am not the least bit concerned about tomorrow. Take a deep breath and relax and pack a book or other items to keep you busy for the Long Haul tomorrow. Let's be sure and reply to each other on Wednesday to find out how we each did with the full ocrevus infusion dose. What time do you go in tomorrow? Talk to you Wednesday. Remember take a deep breath and relax. That is of course unless you get the Benadryl and then take a deep breath and go nighty night for several hours! LOL!😴😪
Thanks for your reply Fancy..........my appointment is at 9:00 am and I will let you know how it goes. ZZZZ
Judymax, I messed up the dates. We showed up at the infusion center only to find out I was one week early. So I go this coming Tuesday and I will be sure and let you know ASAP after I take my first full dose of ocrevus. I'm glad your dose went easy and typically the feeling of exhaustion is normal because of the procedure taken to give you the ocrevus. Anytime I break my normal routine I seem to have less energy come late afternoon and evening. It's hard for me to admit it but I know I'm much more delicate with MS then I used to be! I will let you know next Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning how everything went for me.
Judymax: I didn't have any problems with the full dose. It did take a while to come back (couple of weeks for me). Praying all goes well for you 🙏.
My first full dose was in February and it was a breeze. I enjoy the good nap we get with the Benadryl! Wishing you the best!
Do they let you sleep the whole time while your getting your infusion?
They will but when I had my full dose my legs cramped up really bad so I had to stretch them you see I use a wheelchair and also can walk with a rollator when I went into the hospital I used my wheelchair. I had to stand to try to stretch them out then I realize I was hungry so they gave me a sandwich and a drink. After I felt a little better I fell back to sleep 💤 for an hour and I was woken up by an alarm for the sign that the infusion was done. But when I first fell asleep it was for about 4 1/2 hours. Believe me with the Benadryl you will fall asleep 💤 and then you will be done. You will want someone to drive you too back and forth, because you still feel sleepy.
Just relax you will be 👌 ok.
