Doves will do stretching sometimes before they fly again. I took this photo in backyard using my DSLR Canon camera in manual mode making all necessary adjustments. She-not sure (Lol)...spread out her wing.
Looks like a fanned skirt and she’s dancing.
That's a great shot! It's hard catching animals in action at just the perfect moment.
Thank you! It’s taken many months of practice and to understand how to manually set up my camera for features needed so birds & bird wings or any animal appears more clear in pic.

This pic made my day.At one of our homes, my first news article was on mourning doves.Had started out with 2 pair on a fence and they brought eventually 20!One of my best stories before the MS...thank you for memory lane and that I still have one.Just think what one magnificent picture can do?!
