MS symptoms or maybe something else ?

Waiting to see if I have MS or something similar. Until October 26th 2018,I was a construction electrician. I thought I was having back issues and arthritis. I woke up that morning with a numb left leg and thought it was a back issue.Numbness in thigh went away but I had drop foot in left foot . I has also been having numbness in my left arm and hand. Saw a spinal neurologist and they did 3 MRI's of my spine,no contrast, for any problems. Just minor stuff. They decided to do a no contrast MRI of my brain. I had 8 lesions and some other spots.

Went to a muscle neurologist and he wanted to verify the diagnosis himself. Had a lumbar MRI with and without contrast. There was about 5 lesions and I have an Iliac artery aneurysm.

During the two months between the appointments,I was having right toe numbness. It started to progress to full foot numbness and thigh tightness. Now my right leg gets so weak I can only stand for 10 minutes and I must use a cane for my right leg and an AFO on my left drop foot.

Side note,when I had the leg numbness they discovered I had high blood pressure which I never had before. I was usually 120 over 80 and temp of 98.6. I was in the hospital twice for blood pressure,lastly of 215 over 125 on December 31st.Stress test came back good.. Taking 3 meds now. I now daily monitor my blood pressure and heart rate and temperature. My temperature is always low. Sometimes 94.5 in the morning and goes up to about 97.5.

I have a neurological disease neurologist too now. He was skeptical and did a blood test of my B12,folic acid and thyroid and all came back good. He tested my foot and did a bunch of reactionary tests with the rest of my body. I have striatal toe, hitchhikers toe,on my left big toe also. He said it was an upper motor neuron lesion most likely.

I am just awaiting more tests as they seem to be coming slow. I would like to get a contrast MRI of my brain as I have a feeling more lesions will show up. I have short term memory problems,varied numbness,I get hot flashes with tremors sometimes,I get a lot of numbness when I sit,I have almost no gag reflex,I can only taste with the front of my tongue,blood pressure is still high,heart rate varies from high 50's to 110 sitting,I get numbness in left arm,sometimes in right hand,I get migraines mostly on left side of head,sometimes eye pain behind left eye(vision seems ok), get tightness in muscles of my legs.

Firstly hello and welcome to the forum. You certainly have been through the mill and by the sound of it, you are still going through it. None of us on here are doctors, but we all get ms, because we have been there and we are still fighting. I hope that you can get a diagnosis soon, keep us posted, blessings Jimeka 🦋

Welcome to the group. I hope you don't have MS, but it sounds as though you are looking at every possibility. Has your doctor considered doing a spinal fluid analysis? It might be worth asking about, as that is usually part of a complete MS workup.

I hope you get some answers soon, so you know what you're dealing with. Please let us know what you find out, and come here for support when you need us.

I think a spinal tap is our next move.. I have an appointment with both my Neurologists on the 12th. I spaced out on the date but luckily one is at 830 and another at 1130 only 2 miles away.

I'm so glad that you have these appointments soon! We all hate the waiting that is usually involved in getting an accurate diagnosis.
