If you haven't purchased your forever stamps yet, you should. A single stamp is going up from $.50 to $.55. I just purchased a roll of 50 so I won't have to purchase more for A WHILE!:

Thanks for sharing this! I will have to stop by post office and buy some stamps 👍. Almost all of my bills are direct pay now. Makes it so much easier than writing checks 😊. Ken 🐾🐾

Most of my bills are either direct pay or I pay them online. But there are some that I have to use a stamp for. And of course various cards at various times around the year.

I had a friend on FB post a reminder today about the price going up. Just bought a roll of stamps that should last me for quite some time :)

I went to costco and get mine. I will mail something if the site say you can mail it in or pay online and pay a convenience fee. That fee isn't a convenience for me. I'll let them work that's my gift to them.

brxmom Thank you! What's next? No home delivery? In my recent experiences, post offices close for lunch, open for only 3 hours on Saturdays, and are often staffed by a shifting array of employees... In my childhood, the mail carrier was such an important neighborhood fixture. He (in those long ago days, sadly, always a he) knew the names of all the people on his route (and we knew his); he knew all the dogs (which were friendly, which not), usually had time to stop and say hello, keeping us connected with one another. Newer and faster is not always better. I liked the world a little more when it was a kinder, slower place.

Guess I need to go to the post office and get some more stamps. My wifes youngest graduates this year. I do like forever stamps. Thanks for the heads up.
