Hi, Glad to be here with you all fellow MS warriors. Been relapsing and remitting for 18 years now, and finally have learned to improve my attitude, which has made all the difference. Depression has taken a lot out of me, but thankfully today I have hope. Blessings, everybody, wish you all the very, very best.

Hi Saltygirl. It sure is better when you feel yourself coming out of the depression loop. Would you mind sharing what has happened to give you that hope, it might help someone else. Blessings Jimeka π¦ π«
Hi Jimeka! Nice to meet you. Lots of things have helped me get out of the depression loop, like B and D vitamins and constant curiosity! I try really hard every day, except for when I can only sleep. Hope you are well. Thanks for the blessings! Hug!
Welcome! We do vent here, but I think we keep a positive attitude here. I hope you get lots of encouragement. It sounds like youβll be wonderful at sharing your positive attitude!
Thank you for the welcome! Now, I like to vent, too (not SaltyGirl for nothin'), but I'll do my best to stay positive! Blessings!
You are totally right! Attitude means everything in MS - it is something we have the power to change!
SallyGirl, it's Fancy1959. Welcome to our awesome chat room. We promise that you have found a safe place to come and ask questions, voice concerns, or simply speak to others who truly understand what you are going through. The more you respond to our post and makeup post the quicker we will get to know you and you will get to know us. I am certain there is much we can learn from each other. Until we speak again please take care and always remember that together we are stronger! Fancy.
Hi SaltyGirl ! I love your screen name! There is a broad spectrum of people dealing with MS here so you will always find understanding and support. We are a wide range of ages and experiences. MS affects everyone a little differently but we all understand the chaos it can cause.
Hello Saltygirl Iβm really glad βHopeβ came back to you. Have an absolutely fantastic day π

Wow! Good for you and finding what has helped you. I too battle depression from time to time - the last 20 years. I take Zoloft to help put my brain back on track when needed. I used to be able to hit the gym but then along came MS and exhaustion. But with DMT (Ocrevus), Zoloft and IV steroids (when I can) I feel like I'm rounding the corner. Hoping the same for you!!
Hi, JulieW, thanks for the encouragement! Yeah, I've had depression for like 20 years, also!
Thankfully good ol' generic prozac has been keeping me well for years, which I forgot to mention! It goes with my DMT, Rebif, in a good way. I used to take Betaseron with my antidepressant and was still quite depressed, but the Rebif thankfully knocked it out of the park for me to be happy again. I still cuss about the shots, though, but I'm trying not to do that anymore! I think the fluoxetine is too much for me solo, though, so I take a little bit of zyprexa, too. But God is good! I'm thankful for my meds that work for me. Wishing everybody good health, and right meds!
