Every year here we have a disAbilities Expo where there is all kind of information and activities available. I have always gone since I have 2 disabled sons. Well, now since I "qualify" I have entered my three remaining button art pieces to be shown. They are set up to sell this year so I put price tags on 2 and the other is MINE and is not for sale. The expo is tomorrow (Saturday) and only 2 pieces will be there as 1 of them (that I debated on selling because I really loved it so I put a high price on it) has SOLD before it even got to be put up!!! I got an email from Tina, who I'd turned over the art to:
"Jane,
Just wanted you to know that your cat piece sold today and I had 3 different people wanting it. Also, the AWS Foundation is interested in commissioning you to do a piece for their new office. So, I’m be passing your contact information onto them.
Congratulations!!!
Tina"
My hobby has become true art! I am blown away!!! The photo shown is the one that was sold. Woo-hoo!!!!
