I remember those days. Funny now.

I had days like that only instead of just one child harassing me to get up I had 4 of them. The youngest is now 19 years old the oldest 27. HOLY !@#$! I have a 27 year old kid! Where'd all those years go?! Seems like it was just a short time ago I was sending him off to kindergarten. In a few weeks he'll be 28. My husband and oldest son have their birthday on the same day. One year I switched the numbered candles on the cake so that the 15 year old was now 51, and my husband from 42 to 24. I thought it was funny. The 15 year old didn't find it funny at all and immediately switched the candles to the correct order. 😊 My 3rd son was due on my birthday but he decided to wait an extra week to enter the world.

When I was a kid I saw a bumper sticker on the back of someone's car that read "Grandchildren are parents revenge on their own children" I was maybe 12 years old at the time and didn't get the meaning of it. Once I became a parent I finally got the meaning of it. 😂

I’ve got a sign hanging on the wall above pictures of all of our grandkids. it reads: “Grandchildren are God’s reward for not killing your kids.” 🤭🤣😂 I think everyone who has raised a teenager will see the humor in this. (We’ve never had a houseguest who’s seen the sign not crack up in hysterics, then go on to tell tales of childraising.)💕
