Philips Sonicare...Awesome! Electric razor recommendations?

Tinker-Belle profile image

Oh my gosh, guys! Using a Philips Sonicare (maybe other electric toothbrushes, too) makes a world of difference. I was to the point where I thought I may have to have my husband start helping me with that, too. Nope. That thing is awesome. Change of subject (I blame the MS for being scatterbrained)... Any recommendations for electric razors?

What are you trying to shave?

LOL. Well, I'd like to not look like a monkey but shaving my legs is nearly impossible. Monkeys are cute, right? I guess I should have clarified, especially talking about oral hygiene in the same post! My mind goes in a million different directions yet never lands!

I can't comment on the razor, but I liken my mind to an airplane full of fuel - always circling, but never coming in for a landing. I do appreciate my Sonic toothbrush, too!

My brain is like yours also, thinking of 2000 things to do, and of course never enough focus to do more than one thing at a time.. Grrrrrr 🙂🙂🙂

I have one made by Braun that is battery operated and is safe for use in the shower and bathtub. The one I have is kind of old now, so they might not make that model anymore. They might have better ones now.

Braun. Thanks! One would hope if they don't carry that anymore, they have something even better now. After all, newer is always better, right? Um, no!!

I use a Sonic toothbrush also! As far as shaving my son uses a Mangroomer from Walmart on his chest and back and I am amazed how short it cuts with no razor burns👍. He also uses a Wall grommer on his neck for trimming beard. Both work better than blades for him🤷🏼‍♂️ Good luck 👍. Oh, I also use a waterpic, it’s great 👍. 😜🐾😉 Ken

Darn, and I just finally talked my husband into letting me shave the back of his neck. I trim his hair between haircuts and use some kind of battery trimmer on his neck, but shaving would be much neater. With all the eye drops he has to take for glaucoma, We have to trim his eyelashes, ear hairs.. I don't do nose hair, that's his place to trim.😀😀😀

IPL treatment could be a solution, just ask your specialist if you can do IPL with MS.

IPL on your legs is not too painful (as is the bikini zone) and hairs never grow back. I have brown hair and a fair skin.

You will need 5 or more treatments and a treatment can be done every 6 weeks and you may not tan meanwhile.

I live in the Netherlands where one leg treatment costs 45 Euro at the beautician.

I don't have MS but many symptoms that point to possible MS.

Really? It sure sounds painful!! Thank you. It's something worth learning more about. I hope you are able to get some answers about your issues. Sometimes the unknown can be scarier than the problem itself. Best wishes.

Thanks!

IPL on my legs felt as painful waxing but I could handle it . You can get a trial treatment on one little piece of your leg to see if there are side effects.

Good luck
