Do you have a hard time with consistency? Is anyone on Ocervcus can tell me about their story?

Hi I've been diagnosed with MS since 2011. Been on Copaxone first then on Tecfideria its hard for me to be consistent with taking my medicineπŸ’‰ πŸ’Š so my doctor recommended me to change to Ocervcus since its more consistent then rembering to take my pill or shot. It was hard for me to take it the same time everyday. I was wondering if anyone has stories of having a hard time being consistent about taking their meds? Also any stories about what they experienced with Ocervcus?

Kelly b1976 the way in which i take medicines are I have them in the pill box I have morning and evening l also have my cell phone alarm clock set for the morning and evening I have it set at 7 am then a couple more times to make sure I take them / then I do the same in the evening.

Now the Ocrevus you know you have to go to the hospital or doctors office to take that medicine. I haven’t had any problems with that medicine.

Good luck.

I have a pill box too. Its set up for morning and evenings it helps but that when I'm home. When I go to work I put it in a ziplock pill bag and take it on my break once in a while I might forget on my break then I take it as soon as I remember but then I have to wait so many hours for the next time to take it.

I too use a pill box like ssdw1958. I also uses mango health app. Your phone chirps when it is time to take meds. It is a nice app that tells you all about your meds once you input them. You actually earn points for takings your meds on time. Ocrevus is nice because its one less med to worry about. Once you get it. You're good with your MS med for 6 months. That is what I like about it!

Hi Kellyb1976 welcome. I take copaxone 3xs a wk and I'm getting kinda bad at it.

I have been on it for 3 yrs. Mon, Wed, Fri, or, Tues, thus, sat. 😞

I used to have an alarm for it, but can't get it back. So now I keep my shots for the week out to remember.

Hope it helps you more than it helps meπŸ˜…

When I was on copaxone, the daily one was easier to remember than the 3x.

Great to know that you still have your marbles if you remember.

Sush, or we'll put you in charge of the imaginary spreadsheet. Can't even begin to imagine how someone could do it now with so many members in the site.

When I forget I take it as soon as I can but if I'm at work and either I forget it at home or take it late. I take the pill asp but still have to wait so many hours till I have to take my next one. So its like I skippd a dose. πŸ˜•πŸ˜”

My doctor would like me to change my med. to Ocervcus an infusion every 6 months. To keep a consistent in my system. Sounds good but nervous about it.

What was the reason you had to wait 8 weeks before getting on Ocervcus?

I have taken Ocrevus for the past year and I really like it even though there are some immediate side effects there are no long-term side effects for me. But I think I think it’s important for people to know is that wears off after three or four months and you start feeling bad again so you basically have three or four months of complete relief every six months. Taking medicine on time can be difficult and Ocrevus is a really great solution for that. Even if the infusion is a little painful and it takes only three or four months for the meds wear off more or less.
