Tiff I used same soap forever but at age 30 developed allergy not only soap but also all of sudden allergy to penicillin. Remember M.S. is autoimmune disease I would try a different product no fragrance and hypoallergenic. If you already do that I would go see primary doctor.

Tiffany is that a rash? Did you use new hand cream? New medication, maybe? Is it only at that location? I get that in spots on my arms. Ot could be from various creams, when I spray hair spray on my hair & it lands on my bare skin, medications , when I drinka certain kind of wine (doesn't stop me thou). It usually goes away in a couple of days. But it's a good idea to have it looked at.

Definitely looks like hives from a reaction to either a med, OTC or prescribed or to something you've eaten or come in contact with. Been to a plant nursery lately? I once brushed against something while selecting garden supplies and reacted quite like that. Take some Benadryl or "Believe it or not" a couple of Claritin generic or not should take the edge off it. If you have any symptoms of Anaphylaxis (acute reactions,) get yourself to an ER immediately!

Good afternoon Tiffie07, it's Fancy1959. This monster terrorizes most of us regularly. It's hard to deal with issues when you don't have the information you need available to solve the problem. It seems like each and every day this monster we call Ms thinks of new creative ways to terrorize us. Your leg does look like you've got some type of allergic reaction going on and has caused hives on your leg. Thel first thing to do is rule out the obvious possible things that are causing your allergic reaction. Have either your neurologist or your general practitioner put you on any new drugs or herbal supplements vitamins Etc if they have go to the doctor who's done it as soon as possible so they can monitor your allergic reaction and help to resolve it and make it go down. This could be something as simple as you've changed detergents or changed or added something to your diet for the first time. So think about what has happened around your home first then if you can't come up with any solutions call the doctors and find out who has changed up your routine. I know it's hard not to get upset in to rant and rave and let your stress level go through the roof but that is probably the most destructive thing you can do right now. Stress can kill a person if it's layered on heavy enough. So take a deep breath and try to relax. You can do old home remedies like to take a bath with oatmeal in it that will help pull out the poison in your hives or go to the pharmacist and just get some Cortizone-10 to help also take down the hives and stop them from itching. Or you could do my favorite which sounds really screwy but it works fantastically is get your doctor to give you a prescription for the prescription strength hemorrhoid cream. The kind we used when we had babies. The extra strong time. Then just likely Deb that on your hives and I bet you they just shrink up and disappear. That appointment is so good you can be stung by wasps and hornets and bees and put a little dab of ointment over the sting area and it just simply goes away in a matter of 5 to 10 minutes. I love that cream and I always keep some handy . Okay you guessed it I'm weird but that's okay because it works! Our number one goal in this extended family is to support and help one another in a respectful manner. So no matter how stressed you are or how horrible the situation seems take a calm deep breath before you asked questions and we will respond quickly as possible. We are glad you have found this and we are glad we can help. That's what makes this chat room such a vital and living thing. Please take care of yourself until we talk again remember that together we are stronger!

I have skin problems that look like that occasionally. I think it's probably somthing from the MS or meds.

Yep, don't think it's major, but I'm no doctor. Once it hits all over your body, now it's likely something you ingested, be it a med, a food.... But, even a soap or shampoo you're allergic to can drive one crazy figuring out what it is. Had MS for decades. Had these thing come and go, usually lasting up to a couple weeks. No, it's not a relapse. (or at least doc's don't think). Who knows. Anything with any fragrance can be culprit. My wife and daughter just have to be in the same room it seems like with any fragrance. Forget clothes washed in detergent with fragrance, they'd be goners. Me, I wash my hands with acetone (one of the harshest solvents which works best with no oil residue, and other than a bit drying, nothing allergy wise). P.S., don't try that at home! A dog lick can do that. (if you're allergic). Solving the case of what am I allergic to, begins. Good luck.

I get spots, not a rash but discoloration spots on my face. I think it's from gabapentin.

Have you had it checked for ringworm? It's round.
