Lost my Bear yesterday. He was a sweet wonderful protector. He loved us, we loved him.

This was the third pet we have lost in 8 months. 😢

I am so so sorry and I understand how you must feel. I have had many best friends over the years that I lost due to illness or they lived a long life. It's never easy no matter the circumstances. I will keep u in my prayers..

@Karen-x I am so sorry about your beloved pet and to lose so many in such a short span of time is just, well, to much to take. 😢 I am sure you gave each of them good lives.

Thank you! I was still tearing up occasionally from the loss of our first dog New year's day. Our cat was 20 and so feeble. And Bear was going down hill for months. So we knew each pet's time was drawing near. Never easy though.

I love the quote. Think I will use it in the future.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. It's hard to put into words, but I feel your pain. Last year we lost 8 of our pets to various reasons. We got them all when they were young and all passers in same year of their geriatrics.
