In my quest on building on my tools for Overcoming Mutiple Sclerosis, I began with Heartbreaking. Now as I turn the page, it's a brand new day! Music is a HUGE part of my dealing with this ugly monster. As some of you already my know,I have been learning the harmonica. I search music for me to play to and i find such wonderful uplifts. Contemporary Christian rock, pop and country are some of my favorite. I find such uplifting and wonder ful messages. I would like to share Overcomer with y'all. It should be our theme song. I can't explain it as well as if you watch for yourselves! Enjoy and God Bless everyone!

very nice message with a great beat. Music was very important to me for a few years after my dx in 2007. I can see why this would be a good theme song for this group. I wish you the best on your journey with this beast.

All of us whom are struggling through the extreme challenges of MS are overcomes, we don't quit, we keep fighting. At times it can really get us down, but we're still here we're still fighting. Quite literally, I could do nothing without Christ. I couldn't walk, I couldn't talk, I know because I've been there. I was imprisoned for a time inside myself. Then a soft voice, in my head, that was not my own. Said to me, Allen pick up your cross (MS) and follow me.

Allen5280 . Preach on brother. Yes we are all overcomers.

I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me.

His word shall continually be in my mouth.

Without him I could do nothing.

Again you picked out an awesome song with an awesome uplifting message.

Keep up the good work my friend

Well, it's not my hearts desire to preach. It is my hearts desire to share how I am doing as well as I am, for others, out of love. It's my hearts desire to be an echo of Christ's love. It is my hope for others to find peace, as I have, admits the storms of life. It's my hearts desire to show others of Gods love. A mere reflection of how I overcome the challenges and devastation that is MS.

You’ve just preached a sermon without even trying. That Jesus is peace and love. Scripture tells us that when Jesus and the disciples were in a ship on stormy waters the disciples were frightened and Jesus spoke to the storm and said peace be still and the storm ended. He’ll do the same in our lives if we allow him to. We that suffer from ms even though we suffer different degrees of disability or pain and suffering can find this same level of peace and love thru the love of Jesus. The more we read and study his word the more our light shines to the world letting them know that there is a better way and thats surrendering and giving your life to Jesus Christ. So you don’t have to stand in a pulpit or a street corner to preach. Just by spreading the light and the love of Jesus is a sermon all on its own.

So keep on preaching my brother. This brings another song to mind but I can’t remember who does it but it’s called Chainbreaker I think. Check it out. To me I says a lot.

God bless you Allen

I know the song you are referring to, that would be Zach Williams, and I know it well my friend.

Wow! Yes! Our theme song!

I hung on the phrase, “nothing’s going to get the best of me.” I realized that MS may take away a lot, but it has no power to take the best part of me, the who I am part, unless I give it that power!

Thanks, Allen!

With MS, like most of us dealing with this horrid affliction, I have my ups and downs, my hills and my valleys. Another of my favorite songs is by Tauren Wells called hills and valleys. Check it out!!!

Speaking of Tauren Wells I have to tell you of one of my favorite songs. It’s by david Crowder titled Here I Am featuring Tauren Wells. It’s kind of bluesy I guess you’d call it. An awesome song especially for your harmonica . I think you’ll like it.

2 of my favorite songs right now are Mercy Me “Even If” and Third Day “Revelation”. They give me hope and inspiration which we need in this fight.

Allen5280 Great to see you on again! Love all the "faithful" things you all have said. "Here He Comes" by Joseph Habedank on You Tube is my best inspiration these days. Listen and be blessed. Sorry I didn't get the link, but he pops up easily just by the name of the song. Sending His blessings to you all. Praise Him from Whom all blessings flow!

Hi Allen5280 ! I love this video and song so just had to listen to it again today. It did the trick to lighten my mood. I'm not a religious person at all but a spiritual one...not everyone understands the difference. Just saying that even though I'm not religious, I can appreciate the uplifting message in this song. I use music to help my mood all the time. I'll have to add this to my list.

I find no judgement in my heart for the beliefs of others. I am pleased to hear it has a positive effect for you. That's the spirit in which I wanted to share with everyone else. I am to be but an echo of Christ's love for all of us.
