Suggestions Anyone

For two days, I have been pretty much bed-ridden with exasperated numbness/Tingling in my legs and feet. Worst it's ever been. I was almost in tears last night and took extra dose of Baclofen to help get through the night. It helped about 4 hrs.. Anyone have any suggestions? I have sent request to doc for help.

when I first had my numbness, it had started from my toes and eventually made its way up to my nipples. I remember that I had to go in for infusions 3x/week for 2 weeks and steroids were involved but I don't remember what else. I was too "new" and not even dx with MS yet. If you can wait a while it may go away on its own. You know how these symptoms work. Come and go when they want. Hope all works out well for you.

CalfeeChick Can you get up and walk at all.? If you can still move your legs, try some exercises while still in bed, but try to keep the movement in them, keep your circulation going. There's a new theory going around the hospitals here in the uk, you loose 10% of muscle strength for every week you are bed ridden, so the NHS are now implementing patients moving when ever they can. You are in my prayers Lynn, take care, hugs Jimeka 🦋 🙏 🤗 🍫 💐

I’m sorry to learn that you’re being hit with intense symptoms. Relapse? You’re in my prayers.

Thank you! I heard from Dr's office and he says to go ahead and increase Baclofen by 2-4 tablets a day. I don't think it's any kind of relapse. Just cold floors from cooler weather, old house with hardwood floors and no insulation under subfloor and crawl space. Yes jimeka I'm walking around house with cane.. Lynn

Cold vs. a relapse? Tough call. If it warms up and you’re no better, you may want to give your doc another call.

CalfeeChick I'm going through the same thing but I'm certain mine was another seizure. I bumped my baclofen and Gabapentin. It has helped the leg burn/tingling some and arm/hand burn. I still have left face numbness, like getting a filling, effected talking a little.

I'm very Sorry you are going through this!! One more thing, stretch your legs if you can, this is all I have had success with. I use a walker or a cane to get around and exercise and a power-chair for swapmeets and car shows.

You get better and take care! 🤗
