Well made it through an unsuccessful suicide attempt but gunna try to take part again! Back on track, somewhat. Let's just say it's been an experience and continues to be a process. But I will try to be a part of this great forum again!!!

Still here.......?
Fattius saying that you have felt down would be an understatement, so I am truly sorry that it has reached a point of being in that position. I was once so low that I was contemplating taking my own life and I had two small children. I was in the middle of a nasty divorce, my X had played around with my best friends daughter, and it was more than I could bare. That is when I cried out to God and he helped me, and also before I knew I had ms. Now even though now times with ms make you think those thoughts, because ms has a habit of taking you to very dark places. I know I can call on the Lord and He gives me the syrength to carry on, and hopefully I can be of some help to others by sharing and understanding, and by showing love and support. So Fattius, look for something good in every day, find something that makes you smile, write them down, so you can recall them on bad days, and with experiences you have had, you don't know who you may be able to help. This is the first day of the rest of your life, blessings Jimeka π¦ π π€ π π«
Thanks still recovering in every since of the word! Currently only on one medication only because it's free other than that I am completely void of help but life goes on I guess
Fattius it does, with or without us. I am nearly 62 , which I cannot get my head around, time flies. My children are turning 30 and my memory can recall very clearly what I was doing when I was 30, but I have to realise that time stands still for no one. I have PPMS and have never been offered any medication so I have no idea about which works and which doesn't. Take each day as it comes, expect tomorrow to be better than today, and just sit back and take notes. Sometimes that's all we can do. Blessings Jimeka. Oh and Brian, try smiling at someone, you never know, they might need it. π¦ π π«

Fattius I sure hope and pray that you feel better physically, emotionally, and mentally very soon! Weβre pulling for you! Youβre in our thought and prayers!!!
Fattius , I hope that you are feeling better now. I also had an unsuccessful suicide attempt, but when I found that I was still here I decided to make the best of it. So I put my big girl pants on (one of the hardest things I ever did) and got back into life. Life is difficult anyway, but carrying the burden of this disease around makes it harder. But....when you hit a wall, be prepared to go over it, under it, around it, or blast on through it. I found that this made me stronger and better able to cope. Are you on medication to help you get rid of the suicidal ideation? I hope that your dr is keeping close tabs on you. And take your life back....as long as you're not a serial killer, your life is precious, so live it as best you can.
@Fattius, I pray that you can get some help and try to deal with life. Itβs hard to do normal without MS. I think most of us has had those negative thoughts, at least I have. I pray to the Lord day and night and turn it over, cause I know I canβt handle this alone π. Prayers are with you πππKen
Not on any meds other than gilynea no ins. Not seeing any docs nor my Nero. They aren't worried about anything but an ins # which I don't have. Battling for a long time and just need a little help and then solitude! Don't need friends only real docs but quality of life isn't on the side of the patient in Alabama. Gunna cost more than I can handle with 1 income and expensive meds 2 kids wife degrading house etc. Is what it is only it is a hopeless mess!
Fattius , it may not be. Have you sought out public health agencies that can help you, such as Medicaid or a Department of Family Services, or even a suicide or crisis hotline? Even the Dept. of Public Health? I get it about drs and Big Pharma, but many drug companies do have financial help available to you so long as you're not on a govt.-assisted health plan. Check it out, seriously. You have a family that needs you. Sukie427
My brother committed suicide and it sure damaged the rest of us. Please, if you have any feeling for your family, don't do this!
I take Aubagio and while it's VERY expensive, MS One-to-One pays for 100% of it so I pay nothing! There is help. You just have to try looking around. Baby steps, bit by bit, and it'll get better!
Iβm feeling so sad for you. I know what itβs like to feel so overwhelmed, like there is no way out. Itβs so hard to seek out help for yourself when you feel so low. Do you have a friend, or maybe your wife, that can find free services to help get you the right medication. An antidepressant could really help you. It made such a big difference for me. Please donβt give up!! You can call the suicide hotline and see if they can find resources for you. PLEASE try to get some help. We all need it sometimes. Sending you good thoughts and prayers. Linda
I found this suicide prevention talk line in Alabama 1-800-273-8255. Would you call and talk with them. They may have some resources for you. Sometimes it just helps to talk with someone. We are all pulling for you. Linda
Fattius I survived almost 30 years ago. Still here. And so very happy I am. I can't add more than whats been said, but look at all the support you have here. Please listen to them and Linda3579 gave you a toll free number to call. Please use it. WE CARE !!!
Fattius I'm glad you've reached out to others to talk about what's going on, and I hope you continue to do so. You do not have to go through these thoughts and feelings alone. The phone number that Linda shared is a good contact and resource to have, you can talk to the prevention hotline anytime day or night, (800) 273-8255, suicidepreventionlifeline.org/. And you can also reach out to MSAA's Helpline for MS related resources and information too, (800) 532-7667, ext. 154. M-F, 8:30am-5pm est. Also, there may be clinics near to you to see doctors if you don't have insurance and there are different prescription assistance programs through drug companies to help with the cost of medications, you may be able to see a doctor and start some type of treatment plan that can help. Like others here have said, try to take one step at a time, but please continue reaching out and talking to others. Take care of yourself.
