Thought I’d share my colder childhood.

Did we ever really feel the cold as kids, we played in snow, built snowmen ⛄️ ice skated on frozen rivers and ponds. When the snow was really deep, we’d jump from the roof into the snow. The picture is of my cousin and I holding ice cycles almost as tall as we were. I’m the shorter one. Don’t recall the cold at all!

We used to get three foot of snow ❄️ all the time growing up. Make forts and dig tunnels 🤪 Through snowballs at cars till we got in trouble. Was a great time growing up 🤗👍🙏 Ken

You sound like me! But even when we got in trouble we would just move to another street and blame the kids that lived over there! 😂

Yep, it was fun as a child😊☃️❄️🌨Now, you can hav it🌬⛈💨🌫It usually rains ice, where I’m from.IL brrrr and snows 7ft. And verry cold, naw. Now and for about 35+ yrs. I’ve lived on the Central Coast of CA which is pretty close to perfect. I don’t dare complain, but did have a few days in April, back when I was first dx. It was 90’s and not really paying much attention. Suffered a really freaky attack from the heat. Where I was totally out of it!! Hallucinating, still working but oblivious to what I was doing. Hit a tree somewhere on my drive home. Don’t remember any of it. When at the ER, one of my daughters and my ex where there with me. And I was playing an invisible harp for them. The whole thing sounds hilarious when told to me. I just am very thankful no one was injured. Besides my car🙀 they admitted me gave me an IV if fluids. I slept and left the next morning. Remembering very little. So I stay out of the heat, hav lots of cooling equipment thanx to MSAA. And avoid extremes of any kind. Cold, just weather changes bother me. Typhoon Pony

Just chiming in to say glad are getting usage out of your items from our Cooling Equipment Distribution program, Ponymonroe ! I'll pass that along to our Client Services and Mailroom departments...they always love to hear things like this!

Heat attacks are awful and can put you out for days! Happens to me all the time! Can’t afford the cooling vest but make “too much” for any financial help through MSAA.😡 so I use cooling towels and stay in the AC. I remember when 80f was great and I would get all the yard work done in a day and work on the cars etc. now I’m sweating like pig and getting sick above 70f. Same with the cold. Loved it! Would snow blow everyone’s sidewalks and drives. Play with the kids. Now again. I watch it all through the front window and drink coffee.

How MS Messes with us. Ain’t MS grand!? Said no one ever!

Most of the places I lived in as a child had no or pretty mild winters. Most of my dealing with winter has been as an adult and I don't like it.
