You’ve Got a Friend
rjoneslaw i like this article. ' I hear you' Thankyou. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈
Really liked the info, thanks for sharing 👍🙏🤗
Rjoneslaw The truth of this linked blog is in the author's last several sentences, concluding with "I hear you." In other settings, this is a casual, throwaway line, similar to uh huh. Here on the forum, among us, it means we are listening (even when we only have energy to select "like"), and we listen without judgement, without trying to control another. We are empathetic, compassionate, and embracing...and when someone is silent here for a while, she or he is still present in our concern, our thoughts (l wonder how ______is doing?) . So to all of us who have been silent for a while, know that I am listening, know that I will gladly hear what you have to say when you return, and look forward to starting my day here among you, the sun ascending over the tree line in the east, the dog on the kitchen mat, beside me, my coffee mug within reach. Even when I don't respond, I am here, I hear you, I am listening.
Virtual friends, so important, yes! Great article, rjoneslaw . Speaking of, we consider the team at MultipleSclerosis.net friends as well, and we've partnered with them for a long time over the years. Great group, great list of contributors...you may even see an article contributed by MSAA on their site each month
