Yes you should be letting him know what is going on with your health. Because that is why you are there and let him know what is going on with your personal life you don't have to get into the small stuff. Some times it is good to get things out to someone who cares and he might give you some suggestions and maybe not but you did let someone know what is on.
I make a list of what I want to ask him because you know your going to go forget.at least I know I will.
redman44 , I'm sure our neurologists hear the same roller coaster of symptoms from their MS patients. I keep a sort of log on my desktop computer to print off for neurologist visits. I can tell her the highlights of new symptoms or serious changes, but she can look for subtleties when she has time to read it later. It can become part of the chart, so I don't have to try and remember so many things.
I do hope things level out for you. Are you seeing your neurologist soon?
redman44 Good suggestions here. Tell him exactly what you're telling us. Writing it down helps. I wasn't sure if you were stating in your post that things are just generally topsy turvy, or if it was an emotional up and down you felt, or something else. Perhaps your neurologist will help you to identify the issues so you can make a plan together to try to resolve them.
Wishing you the best at your visit!
