Thank you, David. It is just my husband and me this year as we are away from home. I miss the rest of the family and a noisy, happy gathering. But I don't miss the prep work or cooking a big feast and hosting everyone as I have up until now.

Dave and I just enjoyed a turkey dinner at a restaurant.

How about you? What are your plans for the day? I hope you, too, are enjoying this special day of giving thanks.

Kathy, my wife, drove Thelma, her mom, and I to a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at a local German restaurant that serves the traditional turkey and fixings or a few of their German specialties. Kathy and I got the turkey which was excellent.

Then we came home and watched the Pittsburgh Steelers versus Indianapolis Colts football game on TV.

Kathy and I are both from Pittsburgh, but when we go married we moved to Bloomington, Indiana for four years. Then we moved to Indianapolis the same year the Colts moved there from Baltimore and lived there for 16 years.

While watching the game and seeing pictures of Indianapolis it brought back some memories which were good.

On this particular Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my husband. For 27 years ago today, we eloped! Happy Anniversary, my Love. I wish everyone a day of peace, love, and gratitude for all that is good in their lives.
