Apparently god invented MS and made us all get it. I don't want any more of his 'blessings!'
Sorry you fell that way.In his wisdom and love he only give you the challenges that he know you can over come to make you even stronger.
Well, I suppose he's your god so he can be or do what ever you want to fantasize. He must be a bit of a sh*t though to cause so much human suffering and misery in the world. If he can create the universe he must be responsible for everything in it and he can't be much of a god if he can't even stop MS.
Shorty, it sounds as if you don't believe in any kind of a god or higher power... and that's okay. But why put down another person for having beliefs that you don't?
Personally, I don't believe that human suffering is 'caused' by anyone but humans. We trample childrens' dreams with negativity, abuse and lies. In turn, they pass that on to those around them and teach their children the same. 'Heaven' and 'hell' are created by US every moment of every day by our thoughts and actions.
Lighten up buddy... we're here to help and support each other. If you don't need that kind of connection, fine - but you may find that, if you open your mind a bit, you'll find something here that you can live with.
Take care, be good to yourself.

I Be leave your so right sister.and may your god bless you.
I think if we look a bit deeper, we'll find that there is only one god/higher power. The reason people believe otherwise is because of their upbringing/background. There is no white-haired man looking down on us; there is no devil below us trying to lure us into evil. If we grow surrounded by love and understanding, we live that way and pass it on to our children. We learn that the 'god' or 'higher power' is, in fact, within us. Whether we do good or bad, we are responsible for our thoughts and actions. I don't believe in different races... the fact that my skin may be different from someone else's is simply a matter of melanin. We all have hearts that beat, blood that runs red when we're cut. We all cry when we're sad, laugh when we're happy. We all belong to one race - the human race! Blessings on you Mik! Take care,
Anne
I agree with you when you say that human prejudice, hatred, etc is learned in upbringing and is caused by people. I was not denigrating another person. It is the idea of an invisible man in the sky who does all sorts of horrible things to people like tsunamis or MS that are not caused by people's interactions but he loves us all that I find an affront to rational thinking. Both you and Mik believe in 1 of about 2700 known gods, Hindus have 52. I don't believe in any of them. You don't believe in 2699 of them. You are almost as atheist as I am.
