I am new to this site so forgive me I am not sure how to do this. I have PPMS and I am in a wheelchair full time. I am 64 years old I was diagnosed in 2001. I hope this helps. Dr put me on Rebif to slow progression and I don't know if it is working or not but I try.

Hello Mark, welcome to the site. Whatever you want to discuss we are here.
Thank you for your possible help. I do appreciate it.
Hi Mark! Nice to meet you and glad you're here! I'm fairly new to this site and I enjoy being here. I've been in a wheelchair fulltime for about five years. Diagnosed in 1997 and am SPMS. Currently on Tecfidera for past year. 57 and spend a lot of time with my kids and grandkids. Right now just thankful that the heat has let up some! Lol
Welcome Mark1193 to our group that grows more and more every day. Also a group no one wants to be part of. But we are pretty good about supporting each other
Hi Mark, Welcome to the site. I'm new and still learning the site too. I have had MS for 37 years. I would say keep moving and laugh as much as possible.
Welcome, Mark 1193. I was diagnosed at age 57 with RRMS. I always thought MS was a young person's disease, but I have been amazed at just how many people get it later on in life! I hope that your dr puts on the new med that is the first drug specifically for PPMS and is on the verge of FDA approval! Good luck!
