Hi my name is James, I was diagnosed with rrms in 2012. My mobility has been getting progressively worse. I limp along with a cane and use a Bioness 300 walk-aide system.

I am not a doctor, but I can say one thing. The doctors know MS by the book, we know MS by the Body!!! You need to be proactive and on your computer looking up things constantly. If you are not happy with your doctor then get a new one, that is what I did. Bioness L300 is primarily used for Drop Foot in MS. If your symptoms are greater than just one foot , all over body weakness you need to google your symptoms and look for a new medication. I have been taking Beta Seron, now on Extavia the Generic form Beta 1b I take an injection every other day to slow down the progression of my MS. It actually got rid of MS Plaques in my Neck :-) I have been in remission for years and I can go to the gym but I have to take at easy but I have a life. I did go without it for 5 months when I changed insurance and I was really noticing the difference. Before I was on this drug I was paralyzed from the neck down and it helped me to walk and drive again!!! It gave me my life back, you should talk to your doctor and consider a new medication. Best of luck. Happy Thanksgiving!
