Smouldering Myeloma

Hi I'm Jon, I was diagnosed with Smouldering Myeloma recently. No symptoms at the moment thankfully. Had bone marrow biopsy, just regular blood tests now.

Hi Jon,I was diagnosed with smouldering Myeloma in June 2012,blood tests and visit to consultant every 3 months until October 2016.I have now had 6 cycles of chemo,and am now waiting for a stem cell transplant,no real problems so far with treatment.

Hi Jon. I am also smouldering Myeloma with no symptoms so far.

Hello to all with smouldering Myeloma. May I ask how you were diagnosed with this? Did you have some kind of symptoms that took you to the GP who then did tests etc. or did you fall upon it with other symptoms and tests? Either way, what tests did you have done as diagnosis?

Just joined this group, so see your message was one year ago. I was diagnosed by chance with a blood test for another condition, 2016. Just have 6 monthly blood tests, and at present having a rough patch, with extreme fatigue, and balance issues, Haematologist has just started me on Folic acid, for anaemia, and also iron liquid, as I find hard to stomach tablets.Just hoping to pick up to be able to join the better weather.
