Good luck with finding a treatment that works for you, it can be a bit of trial and error with different emollients and corticosteroids and so on.

Sorry to hear you're suffering. The thing is to keep your skin well moisturised. Oilatum or similar oil in the bath daily. E45, Cetraben, Aveeno or Aqueous creams are popular. You'll find out which creams and oils suit you best. If your skin is really dry, keep moisturising throughout the day. Your doctor will advise you if you need a steroid cream. At night, moisturise again and wear gloves if necessary to stop scratching and keep your nails short and clean. Wear cotton when possible as this keeps the skin cool. Learn relaxation exercies to keep calm and reduce stress. When possible try to get a good night's sleep so the body can rest. Our skin heals while we are asleep. Wishing you all the best.
