Yes I know this is probably considered a joke. NO. i am a 78 yr old lady who has had keratoderma on right foot only, for over 30 years. It comes and goes; maybe this is common? Mostly all the time my sole peels off and it looks awful.
That isn't so bad except it gets very smelly in hot weather, thus making my shoe smelly also. I am allergic/sensitive to perfumed products. Question: could I use an essential oil on it and how much would I dilute it? Thanks for any ideas.

Hi abbafan - I wish I could help.. I know a lot about herbs and essential oils, but this is beyond my ken. I would talk to your GP about this. One thing that might help though is to soak your feet in unscented Epsom salts. It should not only feel really good, but it will help soften the calluses.. If you do it every couple of days it might help with the smell too.. Best of luck there..
Thanks for answering. However, I cant soak my foot in anything because yes that softens the skin but then it all peels off, leaving me crippled! And looking like I am perhaps a leper. Thru these many years I have soaked it in everything known to man and woman. I may be hopeless ☹️? No doctor has had any but the standard unsuccessful answers.
