My mum has developed whiteheads on her face and neck. She has had them for quite a while and they really upset her but we are reluctant to mess with them as I have read they can leave a scar behind.
There are so many suggestions online about scrubs, steam treatments and creams. Does anything actually work?

I know white heads can be caused by the over production of keratin in the skin which hardens before its reached the outer layer causing the white heads. This may be what your mum has.
