First I must say that I have no experience of colon cancer but here are some general suggestions that might help.

Juicing could be an answer for you because you are getting the nutrients but not the fibre. You can start with mixing some vegetables with fruits when you juice and then bring in more vegetables. You could also try wheatgrass powder into fruit juices as, presumably, most of the fibre has been removed. You can get other powders like RAW chocolate, maca, baobab, spirulina and so on, which you can add. Start with a little at a time or make up some sort of 'shot' that you can whack back whilst reminding yourself how good it is for you!

coloncancersupport.colonclu... has some advice from those who are living with the problem post-operatively.

Like most charities they are all about prevention and do very little for those who have/had cancer. I looked at Bowel Cancer UK and their advice is mainly to prevent cancer which is of very little help when it has happened or is telling you what you can't eat and not what you can and providing recipes. Even if you Google low fibre recipes, it is high fibre recipes that seem to come up!

Sorry not to be of more help ... Vicki xxx

Hi I totally agree with VICKY. But I would also consider an anti-cancer programme with your diet, and also supplements if you are interested in complementary remedies. After 5&1/2 years I am "cured" of bladder cancer, and I run a free helpline & website, with factsheets. If you are at all interested please let me know. Good health, Dave

Thank you for responding. Yes I would like some guidance from a nutritionist.
