Just had an appointment through from doctor’s pharmacy requesting attendance for both vaccinations. Read a few stories of people with MSA have experienced breathing problems after having their injections.
Anyone experienced this or suffered no reactions to the vaccinations?
I suffered mild side effects with the first Covid jab but not with the second or booster.

Jackie’s had all her jabs and not experienced any issues other than the usual slight sore arm and feeling very slightly ’off’ the day after.

Slight sore arm but nothing else.

mums care home all had theirs with no problems reported. The flu one is vital this year, cases are very high at the moment.
Good questions, Mark, notwithstanding the probability that there will be at least a few people on here who think you have now dipped your toe (or even your whole leg) into the "conspiracy theorists" bathwater. Not that I would say that of course as I view you post as simply an attempt to gain useful evidence.
Evidence being the basis of modern medicine and the scientific method in general and an essential route to help weigh up your options. In this case your choice to have the vaxx or not.
I have not seen the "stories" you mention (post a link if available please) but you are unlikely to get a statistically useful sample of replies from this forum. However I would like to check with you that you have not put the proverbial cart before the horse. i.e. that your enquiry about vaccinating those with MSA is the last stage in your decision making process and you have already completed the first stage. This being consideration of the general evidence for the whole population, or your specific age group and/or comorbidities, regarding the safety and effectivenss of the vaccination and the historically large number of side effects as reported in the governments own data base (Yellow Card) ,See also USA VAERS.
In effect mass vaccination of around 75% of the population can be regarded as an "experiment" which can be used, from the experimental results, to test the postulation that it is "safe and effective".

In the meantime here is my answer (data) to your original post;
My wife (no MSA) had a significant reaction to the 2nd Pfizer covid vaxx, skin rash (urticaria) which spread over 2-3 weeks to cover 50% of her body,lasted 2 1/2 months,baffled GPs and no response to any treatment. resolved by itself. Painful and seriously disruptive to daily living. Booster 3 &4 no side effects.
Me (MSA DX May 2022). no vaxx side effects whatsoever and an estimated risk of death from Covid of less than 0.2% which is way down in the noise when you have an incurable, untreatable, terminal brain disease. IMHO.
I became ill with the flu vaccine this year. Not typical for me. Everything since my first Covid booster has made me quite ill.
My problem is uncontrolled vomiting and if I can’t drink and salt I can not walk.
Now we just plan that I will be down for several days.
