Thursday chuckle as we just need it sometimes

A burglar broke into a home one night.

He started looking around in the dark, for items he could steal.

Then he heard a voice saying, "Jesus is watching you".

He turned around, expecting to see someone, but there was no-one there.

Nervously, he continued his search, trying to convince himself the voice was only in his imagination.

Then he heard the voice again, "Jesus is watching you".

He quickly turned but again, there was no-one there.

He peered into the dark, letting his eyes adjust and finally he made out the shape of a bird in a cage, a parrot.

He walked over to the parrot and whispered, "Was that you?"

The parrot replied, "Yes".

Relieved, the burglar said, "You're a pretty bird, what's your name?".

The parrot replied, "Moses".

The burglar laughed, "What idiot would name a parrot Moses?".

The parrot responded, "The same idiot who would name his rottweiler Jesus".
