Hi everyone, listening to your conversations about food, my wife is obsessed with ice cream, just can’t seem to get enough, she would simply live on it if I let her!

I think the point you raise confirms that our task is to get as many calories as possible into the MSA patient as possible. Over years of bringing up our four children my wife insisted on a varied diet for us all with chips strictly rationed. Now they are the only form of potato she will eat. Eggs and Pancetta and Baked Beans complete her savoury diet.

Food was Neve an issue for Alan he absolutely loved it. It was always one of my biggest worried the day he wasn't able to swallow and have a feeding tube. He also had a sweet tooth and a passion for Double Deckers. One evening about 9:30 he asked me how lone it would take to make an apple crumble... As you can imagine I told him in no uncertain terms that I was not going to cook apple crumble at that time of night he's had to wait til the morning. He made do with stilton and crackers (another favourite). 😁
