Ruxolitinib
Though it is not common, I believe there are some reports of bradycardia as an adverse effect from ruxolitinib. This is definitely something to contact your MPN care team about promptly.
Thanks for reply gp put me on amlodipine for recent diagnosis. Of high blood pressure and blamed that so moved me to lisinopril now cant stop burping and headache and symptoms like brain fog doesn't seem right have to wait till 20th for appointment !!!!! Don't go to see hem team till March every thing takes ages now
Sounds like you may have a tricky case of hypertension to treat. I was not able to tolerate atenolol nor lisinopril. I did much better on losartan. It does not sound like you are tolerating lisinopril particularly well. Suggest a prompt call to the prescriber to find something that will work better. Perhaps a change can be tried before the 20th.
Amlopidine causes lots of side effects, but is prescribed first as it’s the cheapest! I do better on Indapamide. I was ok on Rux but my anaemia got worse, on Momelotinib now.
I’ve been taking Verapamil for years- controls my BP nicely. Old fashioned, but it works.
I reckon you may be correct, my wife has been on Jakafi since September and noticed a lowering of heart rate from being in the 70 to 80 area, now down to mid 50s. Also getting quite a bit of ascites more recently. Which, on a stick looks odd!! Was to have a blood test today but we are still snowed in.
