Hope you all coping with your MPN and receiving your share of Peginterferon during the shortage crisis. I was called to my local hospital pharmacy yesterday to collect my share. I got two syringes and was told to use the 90 mcgs once a month instead of 45 mcgs every two weeks.
Best regards. Margaret

I received two last month, fortunately I still had three in my fridge. I've just been told they have one ready for me to collect 🤔 I explained I take one every week, and was told the hospital only receives one per month, but are trying to access more. I asked if I needed to call my haematologist and was told, they will be updating him and I will not be left without treatment.
Fortunately, I have a phone consultation this week, hoping for answers.
Just wondering, has anyone else in UK been offered other meds? I am aware NHS have agreed to others being prescribed, temporarily, until stocks are available.
Very interested to hear Margaret Fairbank you've been told to take the 90 every two weeks. Thanks for sharing.
I have been on pegasys for just over a year. Haven't been able to get any since my sept appointment but i switched to fortnightly so supplies lasted a bit longer. Got prescription for besremi two weeks ago and picked it up last week.
