Thank you so much to everyone for their replies, you are wonderful and I hope you know this. I have been to my local pharmacy and picked up my box of 5 free tests which hopefully I won't need but at least I am prepared. Thank you so much, I hope everyone stays well and COVID free!
Thank you again

I had no test kits left but for sure had Covid. Started with sneezing continuously like hay fever, then runny nose. Then throat swollen like razor blades . Went to bed & in night throat worse, sweats & struggled to reach bathroom as legs like jelly & blinding headache. Borrowed a test kit & positive.
Hit bed for 24hrs sleeping mostly & lots of water. 48 hrs later still light headed but recovering. That is current Covid symptoms. Injections had no effect on this strain of virus .
Having heard of several local cases of Covid, I asked at Boots yesterday about obtaining another free box, having done so some time back, to be told that they had had some of these 'free' test kits, but they had gone out of date, and now only had ones to purchase, so not part of the 'free' scheme now. Seemed odd, as if there were different kits perhaps? Obtained some from the other 'Well' pharmacist in town with no problem, called Flowflex, but maybe of interest to UK readers. Do all Boots branches now have this policy?
I didnt realise that free tests are still available from pharmacy now they are not available from NHS online. I'll go ask my local pharmacy. I had the treatment when I had covid a couple of years ago. Very effective in speeding recovery and alleviating symptoms though it took quite a battle to get to the right contact for treatment from St. George's Tooting. So many peopl I know locally have had a bad dose of covid this summer.
