If you are referring to bone pain, then the answer is yes. ET can cause this problem. We can, of course, experience issues like shin splints that are unrelated to the MPN.

If you are experiencing any new pain, suggest consultation with your care team. If it is bone pain, then your MPN Specialist definitely needs to know.

hi, yes I do, as Hunter described it feels like shin splints. I also get the pain in my fingers and occasionally wrists.

wrist pain and once in awhile ankles. Not fun. On Hydra as well with ET. As a side note I’m a preacher’s wife as well. 😍

Hi, yes I do occasionally get shin pain in my left leg and have for several years, my mpn specialist does not seem concerned. I used to get the same type pain in my left arm but that went away a few years ago and has not returned. I think we can get all sorts of weird pains due to the inflammation that can come with mpns. Talk to your doc next time you see them. Best always

I have ET and Jak2. A while ago I had a lot of pain in my ankle / shin. GP said it was thrombophlebitis - related to ET. I use hyrudoid cream 1/2 times a day on my ankle/shin which helps a lot. Exercise helps . Please see your GP.
