I have recently been in a car accident which has inflamed neck pain and disc bulge issues - I am seeing an osteopath who has suggested using an fsm machine at home to help - as well as essential thrombocythemia I have recently been diagnosed with hyper mobility following long Covid and she said this also may help in general - wanted to check this was safe to use with a platelet condition really and if anyone had any experience of this.
Has anyone used FSM for joint pain and disc bulg... - MPN Voice
Has anyone used FSM for joint pain and disc bulges with an MPN
hi BeckDing, so sorry to hear about your car accident. It would be advisable to contact your haematology department for their advice, your clinical nurse specialist (CNS) should be able to advise you, so give them a call. Best wishes Maz
Morning I have used a Tens machine for years without any problems . It has been very enabling with regard to various joint pains .
Best maybe to ask but in my experience the medics have little experience with Tens for pain control… and comments like may be ok for childbirth … but not sure for other pain .
My tens delivers through little sticky pads which I place on skin around the area causing pain . Very controllable with no apparent side effects .. but this is my experience..
give it a go and believe it can help . L
