Pegasus

I started taking Pegasus 2 months ago and the first few injections ( small dose 0.2) seemed lime it was great. they had me increase to 0.25 and 0.3 and have had really severe muscle and joint pain. Has anyone else experienced this? I bike and hike a lot and had to stop as it was to painful.

While I have not experienced these issues with the interferons, arthralgia and myalgia are well known Pegasys adverse effects. It may be that you have exceeded the dose you can tolerate. A level of pain that significantly impacts daily activities is not an acceptable adverse effect. Suggest reviewing your dosing with your MPN care team. You may need to stay with a lower dose and be patient with achieving targets or consider other treatment options.
