Belated , how Appointment went

Was waiting till I found out if Allele Burden test was done when I had appointment at Guys , but still haven't managed , despite emails and phone calls. Will try gain tomorrow. I was late for appointment.

Asked bus driver to make double sure it was going to correct stop.

As time went on I thought it shouldn't take that long . Eventually (30 mins later) I asked someone.

I was on correct number bus going wrong way !!!!!

Should have taken ten minutes. I planned on arriving very early and having a coffee in Nice cafe.

So arrived in a flap...

Blood pressure very high. Usually spot on.

And I forgot to check when having bloods done they had included requested (by me)

A Burden .

Dr. I saw said it hadn't , but could be included on blood taken .

When I saw results there is no mention of awaiting results....... it was main reason I had face to face not phone appointment.

Dr I saw was good . Spent 40 mins with me.

He suggested 2 more tablets a month ,as platelets 610. I agreed at time but have decided to see what they are early Dec.

Other results good .

Glad I went , it's good to feel listened to. Unlike at my local hospital

Also had Integrated medicine appointment

At great ormond street.

Great NHS still allow homeopathy . The pharmacist is all natural products. You pay for the meds ...

He prescribed some drops to take before bed as I have been a bit hot and waking a few times a nite. They are helping ...

Sorry you had the flap with the ride to the appointment. I HATE it when that happens. Glad to hear you had a good appointment and were listened to. Hope you got a hard copy of all of your labs. They are very useful to have. FYI - I always have a written agenda for all appointments. That way if something goes astray and I get my knickers in a twist, I do not forget anything.

How did the Integrative Med appointment go? I love my Integrative Med doc. The complementary health interventions have made a big difference in my quality of life.

Damn transport and great appointment.Hope its helped .Going to ask for a referral at my heam appointment next week to Guys.
