Has anyone gotten pregnant with ET while still being treated? I was told the only medication you can take is Pegasys if I want to get pregnant. Curious about the risks as well. There is little research about this.

The MPN Voice website is a good place to start learning more about MPNs and pregnancy. There are several articles in the Living with MPNs tab. mpnvoice.org.uk/living-with...
You ae correct to think that Pegasys is the only cytoreductive medication that is commonly used during pregnancy when cytoreduction is indicated. In general, Pegasys is often preferred for most people of childbearing years. The larger question would be whether cytoreduction is needed during pregnancy. This is something to review with a MPN Specialist. Many regular hematologists and most obstetricians will not have the MPN expertise needed to manage a pregnancy for someone with ET. Here are two lists.
By any chance, are you in the NY area? I have PV + ET, got pregnant last year (and delivered 2 healthy, wonderful babies/twins in Feb) and had a great team advising me, monitoring me, etc. I’m not on Pegasus but essentially kept taking my LDA, needed Lovenox for a period of time while pregnant and postpartum (to reduce clotting risk), and that was about it. I even got anemic while pregnant and surprisingly needed a few days of iron supplements (pregnancy is a wild thing)
