Jardiance and other SGLT2 inhibitors are becoming an important treatment for diabetes, heart failure, and chronic kidney disease. This class of drugs has many benefits, including anti-inflammatory effects. I came across reports that these drugs may increase red blood cell formation and hematocrit. I am wondering if any patients with PV who take an SGLT2 inhibitor can share their experience.
