"These novel data support the hypothesis that MPNs have an increased burden of cardiac calcifications, independent of other cardiovascular risk factors"

My cardiologist recently ordered a CAT scan for me. I had zero score, (the desired outcome) I think he expected something more. But you bring up a good point that we should all be getting this test with our increased risk.
No, as Im fairly newly diagnosed, a few months ago.But Im a nurse in a perioperative environment, so will ask our vascular surgeon and cardio
