Natto is popular in Japan . Nattokinase is an enzyme derived from natto.

I would only use it under professional guidance as it might be powerful used in wrong dose for you

I did try and make natto lasrt year without success . It went rotten.

You could try a jar of natto. Very Small amount with food should be fine

Thank you for your input. I was in the vitamin shoppe and saw them in the cardiovascular health section. I had never heard of it before. When I looked it up I read that it’s a blood thinner that works as well as aspirin without some of the side effects. I will ask my doctor about it but it seems they don’t always know so much about the supplements.

I take it and have for about 3 years. I read research awhile back in a fee-based Harvard Health newsletter that it was as effective as Warfin and other drugs without the potential downsides to help prevent blood clots. Yet, it isn't a drug and I have had not issues taking it. Most doctors aren't savvy enough when it comes to supplementation to advise you so that isn't the best advice to pursue their opinion. Maybe a functional medicine doctor, but again, I didn't see any downsides. Certainly don't complicate your life by purchasing Natto. Use a great supplement like Nattokinase by Doctors' Best.

Take in the morning on an empty stomach.

so pleased to see your response and the article . I’m inspired again to look into Natto .

I sent it to my Ayurvedic practitioner who said it sounds good and sent me this link

vitacure.co.uk .

They have very positive detailed info on Natto. Just need to see what dose to take to replace aspirin. And possible interaction with Hydroxy….

Just wondering do you use the nattokinase instead of the aspirin? I was trying to find out the equivalent dose last year but it is hard to find good info on it.
