5th vaccine

Hi, I have ET diagnosed 2017. I had my 5th vaccine today. I was worried about having this one., didn't worry me having the other 4 but for some reason been worried about 5th. Took my medication (Hydroxycarbamide) and paper work to show. This time I have had Moderna.

Hello linphy and everybody. After receiving a couple of NHS letters about having a 4th jab, which I had in early March, I emailed my local surgery to find out if they had got my records correct. They replied the next day with a phone number to ring and ask about a 5th jab. The lady on the number was very helpful and booked me in for the 5th jab the next day. I took my most recent report from the hospital consultant and a letter from my doctor saying I was entitled to the 4th jab. The nurse was happy with that. I had the Moderna jab and next day felt a bit rough but am on the mend today.

Hi Caryopteris, glad your ok now after having moderna. I wasn't well from Wednesday evening body aching like flu terrible headache high temperature. Today I'm starting to feel a bit better. Take care

Hi Linphy I too had my 5th jab yesterday and unlike the 4th where I had to spar with a clinician and still didn't get it until later. This time I've been bombarded with emails, texts and phone calls inviting me to get my 5th jab. Mine too was Moderna (as was my 4th) so I was hoping I would be OK ( I've been unwell whatever they have given me). No such luck. Still by now we know it will pass and just hope these jabs keep us safe. Keep safe, and well, Sue

Hi Sksarj hope your feeling better, certainly isn't a nice vaccine (moderna) not that any are nice! Rest and take care
