I have ET, my friend has multiple myeloma, she has been in remission for a few years thanks to being on a clinical trial involving SCT. However, at the moment her neutrophils are very low, so the remission may be waning, to get to the point is there any supplement or food that would help her increase the neutrophils? Clutching at straws I know as I don’t think there’s anything that helps with ET. She already has a healthy diet.

Neutrophils?
My Integrative Medicine Specialist recommends several supplements to support the immune system. Reishi, Astragalus and Coriolus (Turkey Tail mushroom). There are supplements that combine these and other ingredients to support the immune system.
I do not whether the supplements are actually raising my levels of Neutrophils and Lymphocytes (lowered by Besremi) but I figure I might as well hedge my bets when it comes to the immune system. I have not experienced any downside to these supplements and maybe they will help strengthen my immune system. At worst, i am just wasting my money.
I also make a morning cup of immune tea. It is a blend of Reishi, Echinacea, Elderberry, and a few other odds & ends. The tea bags come premade by Traditional Medicinals. Not sure that is actually effective, but is tastes really good so it is worth drinking just for pleasure. It is a nice way to start my day.
If your friend can find an Integrative or Functional Medicine doc to consult with it may really help. these docs look at health and interventions is a different way. Hope your friend find solutions that work for her.
