That's me been on tablets now for 10 days , I haven't had any side effects so far .

Still don't feel great still have bone pain sweats and fatigue.

My results for scan saying fatty lumps on liver ! spleen normal .

Hi there. It can take some weeks or even months before you see a change in blood counts and / or symptoms. 10 days is very early - possibly too early to even start tweaking the dosage. It can take time to arrive at a dose that makes the impact your haematologist will be looking for. It’s good you don’t have any symptoms - most people don’t. I’m sure your haematologist will review at your next appointment. Hydroxy brought my numbers tumbling down - but in fits and starts as the dosage was tweaked. And I felt so much better. But it’s not an overnight wonder drug and takes time to kick in and adjustment to ensure maximum effect. Wishing you well.

Yeah I know , getting checked at haematologist every 4 weeks at the moment, she did explain that I might have to adjust dosage. Thanks 😊

My husband's liver always showed fatty liver raised LFTs he went tea total and watched his diet and the LFTs came down.

That's good your spleen is normal.

My husband was on hydroxy for 3 years he's now on ruxolitanib it's been fab his energy is back up and his spleen has now reduced in size .

Good to hear you have no side effects.

Thank you, I have always been tea total, I smoked for many years only gave up 18 months ago. I am usually good at watching what I eat not snacking on rubbish no fizzy juice only water or tea . I was also very active but since having covid over xmas 2020 my energy and moods have been at an all time low ! I really need this drug to work for me so everything crossed 🤞🤞

My husband tested positive last Saturday he was burning up all night on the Friday felt terrible so he tested positive at home then had to have a PCR test for work . He had three days of fever then no energy for three days he's absolutely fine today back to normal . It's a worry he was due his booster vaccine today but we had to cancel it.I've tested daily I'm negative it's so weird this virus .

He has still been working from home daily.
