3rd vaccine refusal

Good morning everyone. I just thought I would share another variation on the experience of seeking a third vaccine. A week after enquiring, I have had a response from my GP to say that they are:

‘not aware of people being eligible via these organisations. We are receiving letters from hospital consultants to explain that patients are eligible for a third dose . . . you will be invited for a Booster dose towards the end of October. ‘

I will contact my CNS to see if letters are going out but they didn’t send any regarding CEV status so I’m not hopeful! Or I may just take the booster for now and speak to my consultant at my next appt.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having these issues.

I think your suggestion of getting the ‘booster’ for now, and chat with your CNS is probably a good idea. Maybe ask for their email address where you can forward on MPN and BCUK letters to help argue your case.

Oh it’s a nightmare, do you have a specialist nurse you can email?
