App being closed?
I’ve got a headache trying to sort it out . !! Locked out of account changed password but wouldn’t let me on then suddenly app is back !!!
Wonder if I’ve fallen for scam ??
Ouch!!! - it’s just that I’m constantly on ‘scam alert’ - every time the message comes up I’ve just closed the app + it all seems to be still working when I try it later.
Not as easy to follow as on tablet or desktop. Not bothering with the mobile App. At every turn we are being encouraged or forced onto mobile Apps. I can’t be doing with it !!!!
I’m on my phone now
I’ve lost the app, I’ve search for it and it’s gone.
I’ve got an ‘old-ish’ iPhone 6 which updated last week, and ever since I’ve been unable to use the Amazon app on it. Says I need a higher version of iOS, and my phone will no longer update that far 😡. It says I have to log in on the browser. That said, I’m replying to you on the same phone, so my Health Unlocked app is still ok.
Apparently the application has disappeared from AppStore
Hi Anne-Marie hopefully this information from the HealthUnlocked team will explain all:
Why are we retiring the app?
For a few years now, the app has been falling back compared to the mobile website, with many missing and underperforming features (e.g. bugs).
Earlier this year, we contacted members that use the app to understand their experience better. We got around 300 replies highlighting what they like and dislike about the app and their overall perceptions. The results showed us there is little perceived difference between our mobile website and the iOS app. And although many members are happy with the app, others are very bothered with the inconsistencies.
After this valuable feedback, we have decided to focus solely on an enhanced mobile web experience. By doing this, we will be able to deliver improvements to the site more rapidly.

What does that mean?
• the app will no longer be available to download on the Apple App store
• members will no longer see the 'Open on the app' banner at the top of the website
• members will no longer receive push notifications
• when members click on the app, they will see a message explaining how they can continue to use HealthUnlocked on the mobile website - with some tips about this transition.
Please note: It does not mean we will never again have a native app (iOS or Android). That continues to be a possibility for the future.

How will we notify app users?
We will email all members that have used the app recently (and have subscribed to our email announcements) in advance, so they can take the necessary steps to transition to the mobile website version of the site.
