Very Strange Condition

I have a health issue no doctor seems to want to deal with. Has anyone else ever heard of this? IT started about 3 years ago (nothing to do with Covid). It begins, with no "cause" by me feeling "not right" one day and for the next 4-5 days I'm in bed: alternately sweating profusely and freezing, sleeping non-stop, no eating, barely drinking, running NO fever. Another weird thing - I normally never dream, but during this time I dream long, crazy dreams. I have these episodes about every 3-4 months. Can anyone relate?

Hello Green1445, , indeed very strange and seems unconnected with your secondary PV I note you have from previous posts. The only ever time I feel remotely like this but on a lesser scale is when I omit to replace my Buprenorphine patch and I begin to get withdrawal symptoms much as you describe.

I guess if I didn't twig I'd omitted to replace it after a day or two of drowsiness and sleep etc I would experience what you do. One reason why I'm reluctant now to stop them but will try dose reduction again.

Could it be associated with anything you're taking or not now , , I also noted you use herbal pain management. Any connection there.

Hope you eventually get an answer or it miraculously ceases because it's often the not knowing that eats you up as much as the condition.
