Does anyone use a foot massager?
I would like to buy one, but I don’t know if people with blood cancer and have had blood clots can us them.
Thank you in advance.

I have used a foot massager. My Massage Therapist has a really intense massager that can be used on the feet as well. I did not find it comfortable on the feet, but did like it on other parts of the body. My thought would be if it feels good - do it. If it is uncomfortable - don't do it. Pain is bad. Seems like providing the massager is not so intense that it is beating you up, then it should be OK. As always, check with the MPN Specialist if you have any questions.
In my opinion, keeping your blood circulating in your feet and legs is a good thing. Hospitals use massagers at times to keep patients who can’t walk from getting blood clots. I use one for feet, calves & thighs. Helps a lot!
Like Hunter says it would be very wise to check with an MPN expert. I have been tempted by advertisements as my lower legs and feet can be very painful. However I've had a lower leg blood clot and on a blood thinner. I'm fairly sure the ads said they shouldn't be used with these problems so I haven't bought one. When I've been in hospital, sometimes there has been a lady from a voluntary organisation giving massages. The charge nurse was always quite firm that my legs must not be touched - only gentle hand or head massage. Setting off a bleed because of the blood thinners, I gathered, was one risk, but really professional advice is necessary.
