Early symptoms have vanished

I am almost 2 months into my treatment for ET on Hydra. Initially 500/day for the first 2 weeks, and since then it's been 1000mg 4 days and 500 mg 3 days of the week. I had lots of dreadful symptoms until a few days ago. I was so delighted that I woke one morning to a normal situation. Could this be due to my body becoming attuned to the drug or could there be a reduction in platelets. I will bee my haemo in 10 days and I'm eager to hear some more good news. It's great feeling better!

For those interested my symptoms included nausea, constipation, chest soreness when breathing, low energy and tiredness, poor appertite, headaches.

Hello Junegal52, thats great news. How high your platelets were when you started the treatment ?

October 2020 my platelets peaked at 690,000. I think they are in the 500's now and my haemo wants them in the low 400's.

Gosh they weren't very high to start HU. Mind have been as high as 970 with no symptoms. Went back down to 601 on their own with no medication. Plsed you are feeling better.
