Does anyone know where I can get life insurance. As well as ET I’ve had a heart attack and am diabetic type 2

Hi, Steve, I don’t think you can get life insurance. I was diagnosed with ET in 2008 at age 52. I didn’t have any other health issues. I tried to apply as soon as I found out and was declined. I also sell life insurance and I tried several times over the years with different companies and each time, was declined. You, unfortunately, have the double whammy of having Diabetes. I don’t know where you are, but I’m in the US. Maybe it’s different in other countries.

Hi Steve, there are insurance companies who have provided cover for people with MPNs and other medical conditions, I can send you a list of companies, the companies on the list have been used by people with MPNs, though we cannot guarantee that they will provide cover or what the costs will be, if you can email me at [e-mail] I will send you the list.
