Hi Jbut, not sure whether you're relieved or not to receive the letter, but wonder if you could satisfy my curiosity. Do you have other health conditions or have you received this based on your MPN alone? If MPN alone, do you take medication other than aspirin for your MPN.

Thanks, take care and stay safe.

Thank you, just wondered as I had a heart attack several years ago and if other health conditions are coming into play with MPNs.

Stay well

Hi liz, I received mine because of other health conditions and on a host of other medications as well as 22 Hydrea a week and Clopidogrel for Etjak2. My letter also had NHS at the top but signed by my Gp at the end. But also received another letter yesterday from the Department of Health & social care saying important action required- SIGN UP TO THE GOVERNENT REGISTER FOR THE EXTREMELY CLINICALLY VUNERABLE PEOPLE. Starting to dread the postman coming in the morning and wondering whats on the system. Will they not bother with us if we have to go into hospital? Makes you wonder! Sending warm wishes.tina.🤗

Hi Tina, scary times indeed. My brother-in-law also got letter due to having treatment for cancer. On the plus side, he got an essentials parcel delivered by government at beginning of this week and will get one each week for the duration. Hopefully, they'll be doing the same for you so you can stay home and safe.

We'll get through this. Take care

How do you know it was from Government? I was in the bath wednesday and had a call from my daughter saying the neighbour said their was a box on my doorstep but I hadn't signed up to anything. Their was nothing to confirm where it is from or why I have been sent it. I have got people to rely on and have no need for it. I did ask my daughter to sign me up for a sainburys delivery in case I have problems further down the line but thats it. I haven't a clue what to do with it because it was just left on the doorstep. Sending warm wishes and stay safe.tina.xx.🤗

Hi Tina, If I remember what my sister said there was information inside the box saying why they'd been given it and informing them that they would continue to get until the end of the shielding procedure.

Stay safe
